I forgot to say at the last update – I don’t know if it’s just me, but whenever I load a page here, it hangs, showing only the Project Wonderful ad for about 5-6 seconds. It’s making reading the archives very very difficult.
Is that ad new, or am I just having problems out of the blue?

Getting excited now! Can’t wait to see what happens next! (: The first panel is brilliant, by the way. I wish I could draw with half as much skill as you do. Whenever I try to draw big scenes with lots of tricky angles and proper perspective, it just ends up looking like a complete mess.

I have only 3 things to say this time!
1. I love Octopus Pie and I love your sweet and clever reference
2. I am BOWLED OVER by your artwork. BOWLED. OVER. The perspective is impressive, but the thing that gets me is the variation and the soft touch of the line quality, and especially the muted, subtle, integrated tertiary color palette. (pretentious arty terms, hooo!)
3. i am infuriated by tina! But in that way you loathe a really well-written character !
She adds so much intersting drama and suspense to the story! Her latest appearance totally set my teeth on edge and I can’t wait, on again, to see what she does next.

I personally don’t think it was Anders. I don’t know who it was, but I don’t think it was Anders. It could have been Johan. ???
I love the Eve cameo!! She looks especially like herself in the last panel. And Rene, this artwork is beautiful. The entire comic. I love the first panel, but I love the look of desperation in Anders’ eyes in the 2nd and 3rd panels…it’s just lovely. Thank you.

I think, judging by the look in her eyes, Tina really WANTED it to be Anders phoning, but it wasn’t.
Beautiful work. I can’t wait for the story to conclude. I’ve avoided reading the archives until it’s done, so I can absorb it all at once. Keep going!

Today’s strip is great. The first panel is lovely, and I think my favorite touch is the window change in panels 2 and 3. Very well-done and effective. Also, poor Tina.
