   I also share this hunch. but…
   By doing this, he made her have to choose between him+baby, or her dream university.
   wonder if it was intentional. if it was, it’s diabolical, but the kindest way to ditch having to go through with making a family.
   if it was accedental, this is probably somthing he should have thought through.
   maybe he thougth.

   Diabolical? I suppose if it’s diabolical to do what it takes to keep a talented young woman with her life and dreams ahead of her from becoming, too early, the husbandless mother of a “surprise” child, then it’s diabolical.

   Husbandless can be fixed and surprise children are about 70% of all children, and a family can sometimes make you happier than a degree.

    I just read your comic from beginning to present, beautiful artwork, and an engaging storyline. I love how your comics represent that relationships are never one thing or another, they are complicated, and messy, but beautiful.
    your work is amazing, honest and true to life, thank you for it!

    maybe, it would be easier to think the agethingy this way.
    in 1995, when maria spent the night at bjorn’s she was, what, 15.
    bjorn was then 21. was johan around the same age?

    After reading today’s, I needed to shop. As I was driving, a pretty, young girl with shoulder length hair and a purple backpack was walking in the opposite direction. She was wearing jeans, a grey shirt, and (this was what got me) Maria’s black/white stripy shirt sleeves. I nearly crashed the car. Sadly she probably just thought I was some old perv.

    I read this comic because I am Anders. I’m that can be good boyfriend but easily fucks everything up guy. I’ve been going through a divorce and for some reason I felt like i related to this comic.

    I think I want to be more like Bjorn…

    I’m just not sure how
