  1. Cri Says:

    Aw! Belly kisses!!!

  2. gabbilicious Says:

    :D DAWWWW

I would name my child McLovin then…

  3. Eric Merrill Says:

That love in her eyes may be all for David Bowie, but I’m happy to see it nonetheless.

  4. Chuck Says:

    :D

  5. Jeni Says:

You were just the high point to a really bad day. Thanks!

  6. DubDub Says:

Hah, love it! Maria’s face in panels 5&6 is so cute. *delighted sqee*

  7. Juano Says:

Why would Anders sing that? Does he want his son to be LOST IN SPACE?

Also your guest comic is really mean. It’s mean against Batman :(

  8. C8 Says:

Love love the comic. But I have a question: Is there any way there could be a navigation bar *above* the comic? I have the worrisome habit of always going back one comic once the page loads in order to remember what was happening last (I know, it sounds a bit OCD). But no matter how hard I try NOT to see what’s in the current comic, I always see the last panel.

This sounds like a personal problem, I know. :)

I know this set-up is probably pre-made for you, but just throwing it out there!

    Many

  9. Alexander Says:

Touching to the heart… pure romance! It’s so beautiful! =)

  10. louise Says:

i’m not going to get serious with anyone unless i’m sure they’ll sing david bowie to our unborn child.

  11. Dain Says:

Great comic! Anders is so sweet!

  12. Jill Says:

came over from your ShortPacked! cameo and fell in love with this comic!

  13. fnord Says:

I can’t believe I never thought of this: Batman & Robin are *obviously* isomorphic to Zapp Brannigan & Kif… Great guest comic!

  14. berga Says:

nice perspectives on the last panel there, also, very cute. If webcomics had a norm, you would be in the better-than-the category

  15. Rosie Says:

aww, cute. I have to say I really like the style that you’ve been using to draw Maria recently.. she looks so cute!

  16. KH Says:

Now I *know* they’re going to have a girl.

  17. Rebecca Clements Says:

Juano: No, DUH. It means he wants the child to be a drug addict. GEEZ.

  18. Keaton Says:

These last two strips have made me melt into goo. Aww.~ ♥ ♥

  19. Namagem Says:

Meh, it’s really a pointless mention, but the pedant in me can’t help but mention that the lyrics skipped a line; “The papers want to know whose shirts you wear.” I can see why you (or rather, why Anders) skipped that line, would ruin the scene.
    Excellent comic! +bookmark’d

  20. Rene Engström Says:

Namagem: It was there originally, it just really cluttered the page.

  21. francisco Says:

hey anders! if we’re operating under that assumption, how about superhero tom? or tom-that-guy-that-grants-wishes? or maybe unusually-successful-handsome-cab-driver tom?

  22. Genevieve Says:

Uh, you can be a doctor in the military….

Damn, I hope the ultrasound appointment isn’t wrought with tragedy.

  23. Fuddle Says:

    So HEY.
    This comic kindof
    rocks my world. XD
    ALOTT!

  24. ariston Says:

But, Sweden leads the “Nordic Battlegroup” which is by far the most awesome sounding of the EU Battlegroups. Major Tom of the Nordic Battlegroup has an awesome ring to it. (Axes and machine guns.)

  25. PHDrillSergeant Says:

    Hey Many:

Click the small green left-arrow above the menu bar.

  26. Lilian Says:

Just to let you know your comic makes my days happy ones ^_^!
    Greetings from Spain!

  27. Ashley Kromarek Says:

    I miss Johan

  28. Yanina Says:

DAVID BOWIE ROCKS!!! *love* *love* *love* I agree with Eric Merrill, Maria’s love in her eyes gotta be for David Bowie.

    *hyper fangirl mode*

  29. Liz Says:

to C8 - what i do is bookmark the actual page that the comic is on - not the homepage. that way i can read the last comic ive already read and click on the link to the next one if theres a new one. the only downside is that i have to re-bookmark the newest page every time theres a new one. small price to pay though for no accidental peeks

  30. Tom Says:

Being in the Military is not a “ethical/non-ethical” choice, the positions that people in the military are put in by the government are. Your toon puts down many good people in the military for the right reasons, shame on you.

  31. Laura Says:

Somehow, Anders always seems to end up between a girl’s legs :D

  32. Rene Engström Says:

Tom: Being in the military isn’t even a choice (for males) in Sweden, it’s obligatory.

My strip was more on the ethics of naming a child, and how that could influence one’s career choice.

It was also just a silly joke, not a politcal statement.

Can’t we all just get along?

  33. Andrew Says:

    I wish i was Anders

  34. Chuck Says:

Hi. I love this comic. It brings me endless entertainment. I don’t usually comment, but today I decided to for a very special reason. You just caused me to win a movie ticket from Blingo because I couldn’t remember the rest of the lyrics so I went to look them up. Thank you.

  35. Samuel Kitchen Says:

I LOVE DAVID BOWIE AND THIS COMIC!!! That’s so sad why military is obligatory in Sweden? Maria is so cute in this comic ^_^

  36. sarah b. Says:

this is lovely! i just finished reading all of your archives… and i am now hooked. abso-frickin-lutely fabulous.

  37. Olga Says:

Aww.. they’d be like Major Major Major Major. Adorable.

  38. neil Says:

You’re really putting me in to the D’AWW mode with the past few, renee.

  39. aiden Says:

    i love this.

i’ve never cried while reading a webcomic before but after reading through the archives- i love this, love this, love this.

  40. Joy Says:

her pregnant tummy is so little and cute!

  41. Becca Says:

Okay, so it was the Batman guestcomic that got me over here… but it was the artwork that made me read the whole archives :)

  42. DubDub Says:

Just a question that I always forget to ask:

Why have the arrows above the menu bar turned into quotation marks? They used to be arrows. They became double quotations around the time of your stalker-related-hiatus. Why did they do that? *Tips head to one side* They’re rather hard to click, especially when you’re in a spazztic fit of New-ALM-update mania.

  43. Seth Says:

Still one of my favorite webcomics.:-)

By the way, is it a magic wrist watch that Maria is wearing in panel 9?;-)

  44. Seth Says:

Sorry wrong chapter. My post above was supposed to be to the “Vi ses” chapter :-S
