I'd catch up a lot faster if I quit reading the comments....but they are like the crack on top of your comic heroine (old joke, I know...) Anyway, I don't mind the hand-lettering or the digital text - either way looks good. But these speech bubbles are worlds better than those in the previous comic. The softer lines and the watercolors just contrasted too much with the computer bubbles. These really bridge the gap. And the art is lovely throughout. I know I’m really late to the party, but I’m commenting as I go. As our guide entered the apartment we all began to follow her, only to have her come running back at us screeching "KUTSU! KUTSU!" (kutsu = shoes in japanese). Totally had forgotten how important it is to take off your shoes in Japan before entering a house.
