Haha. April Fool’s or not, it’s awesome. Personally, I kinda hope it isn’t, make for a rather interesting story arc I would say. Keep up the good work Renee, I love everything you’ve done so far. Definitely up there with my favorite webcomics and better than most of the one’s out there. I hope on day I can make something as good as this

The fantastic thing about this strip is that whether it’s April Fools gag material or not, we still win.
It’s either a fantastic throwaway gag, or a fantastic plot twist nobody could have seen coming.

too funny! i’ve been desperate for some yaoi action. why does gay stuff only happen in all-gay comics? johan’s always miserable and never with anyone as far as we’ve seen - maybe he is a closet gay but anders…well, i think anders is straight. and it’s definitely an april fool’s gag in any case. johan wouldn’t do that to his sister. tomorrow we’ll hear anders getting the call about the heartbeat and he’ll be back with maria in no time! but maybe next april 1st they’ll invite tina and johan down for a 4way!

It might sound like cliché, but I like Astrid Lindgrens stories very much and I think something about the mood and feeling of your comic is similar to the mood and feeling of her stories.

Think of yesterday’s comic. Thanks to Anders and his genetic material, Maria was very happy yesterday. I think we know enough about Johan to know that that would make him happy as well. Or as happy as he’s capable of being, anyway. So, a “thank you for being the father of my niece or nephew and making my little sister happy, even though I think you’re a dirtbag” peck on the cheek.

also, i like how everyone’s joints are fluid/bendy, and all the lines are so round and soft, but Anders’ fingers are very jointy/well-defined. it’s a cool juxtaposition of style.

Would the idea ever enter Björn’s head that he might be homosexual? It’s almost inconceivable given his culture and how well he fits into it. Even more do I doubt he’d ever acknowledge such an idea, let alone act on it, let alone with Anders. Yet this looks like a kiss of love. I call shenanigans.

This all was just a plot of Johan to get back on his little sister for fucking Björn and at the same time have Anders for himself.
He tempted Maria to act like she did and paid Tina for the assfucking-thing, so Anders gets used to it!
Yes, he even arranged that thing with Ass-Man. Man, it was *him*, beating this retard so hard he wouldn’t ever be able to wlak again and managed to stay unseen and made it look like it was Anders fault!

MAYBE IT’S POISON. MOUTH-TO-MOUTH POISON. But, ah! Spring love! You fill me with carbonated giggles, Rene….. They are pink and shaped like hearts!! (This isn’t helped by the fact that I am listening to the Beatles’ “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road”.)
I especially like how Anders looks in the 3rd panel.
I love the idea that this is canon and that Johan has repressed homosexuality as well as interest in Bjorn. Maria & Johan’s father being how he is would explain some of it…. And if Bjorn knew about Johan being interested in him but was pretending not to, it would explain his exhibitionist behavior with Maria (as a way of turning him down without actually having to say anything). And maybe Tina “outed” Johan?!

The reason that Johan doesn’t like Anders or Bjorn is because Johan is gay and secretly wants to get into both of their pants. So when Bjorn and Anders started hooking up with Maria it shot down Johan’s chances to hook up. Now that Anders is not with Maria it leaves Anders available for Johan to swoop in on.
That is my theory =D

I could see Johan being gay, but I think he hates Anders too much for hurting his sister to really want to be with him.
