Anders and Tina: The Perfect Couple by Sam Logan

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

It’s such an honour having webcomic veteran Sam Logan interpret Anders and Tina. It is spot on. Poor poor Tina.

Funny. People have complained about the weather in Wales all over the country, but today in Cardiff is the first day of sun I have seen since coming to the UK. It was snowing in London and York!

I must say, all the guest comics so far have been fantastic! Only problem is that my sneaky at-work reading is less sneaky than it probably should be because I keep laughing out loud…

  3. Annabeth Says:

OH MAN!!!!!! That’s awesome. I love her face in the last panel. Yays Sam!

  4. fen Says:

Yes, it is rather nice in Cardiff today. It’s been a bit wet up until now, so you’ve lucked out. Cardiff is normally wet and windy this time of year. :P

  5. Steve Says:

Ohhhhhhhhhh, Sam… Yeah, he pretty much gets it. It’s nice seeing a guest strip from him, it was through Sam and Fuzzy that I got here in the first place. :)

  6. Paul Says:

Hee, this one is hysterical. And kudos for mentioning carbon footprints! Everyone needs to up theirs eventually. Good job, Sam!

  7. Tapio Peltonen Says:

Wow. These guest strips are just magnificent, and show that many talented - and well-known - artists love this comic. Rene has really achieved some serious webcomics cred.

  8. Gabbylicious Says:

Awesome comic. I’ve totally been looking at them from that angle. Tina is way too desperate to keep him happy with her.

and btw its been getting cold as hell here. I live in florida and its been freezing these past few days.

  9. Luke Says:

The weather in York’s actually really nice today! You really DID bring the Swedish cold with you, didn’t you?

  10. Olga Says:

Poor, poor Tina. Unrequited love is a bitch.

  13. Rebecca Says:

Man, nice one Sam! You did a good job with the style. Nice soft lines and whatnot. I love the shadow in the last panel.

  14. kaiki Says:

Wow, 3 for 3 guest strips have used bork. I wonder when Ms. Engstrom will rename her strip “Bork Loves Bork: The Bork about Borking” in order to capitalize on the popularity? ^_-

  15. Matt Says:

Sun? Impossible! It was even snowing where I live in the Seattle area yesterday. First snow we’ve had since early February. Maybe it’s time to relocate…

  16. ashley Says:

i have been reading S&F for 5 years now & i love sam’s work. this comic is no exception! (i love the shadow tina creates on the wall in the last panel!)

  17. Kafine Says:

Yes, it was a lovely day in Cardiff today! I was dissapointed I didn’t make it to the Thing, you were one of the ones I wanted to meet. And now you come to my hometown just to taunt me, lol.

  18. Ashley Kromarek Says:

It is odd that everyone else is having such shit weather. It is actually quite nice in MT this week, and it is usually snowing this time around.

  19. Jess Says:

Ha, ace guest strip. I loves me some Sam and Fuzzy. :D

Ooh Cardiff! I live there! Are you visiting people? It was indeed lovely weather today. It makes my new found love of cycling to work even better.

  20. squashynose Says:

Nice in York?? Have you SEEN those clouds? You wanna try working outside in the wet and cold all day, everyday… Bah.

  25. Su Says:

    I’m loving this shit!
I know this is a guest strip but I could pretty much assume this to become canon for the future of Tina

  26. Luke Says:

    >>Wow, 3 for 3 guest strips have used bork. I wonder when Ms. Engstrom will rename her strip “Bork Loves Bork: The Bork about Borking” in order to capitalize on the popularity? ^_-

Haha, I said much the same to Rene when she showed me the other strips, but neither KC Green nor myself, uh, abused the bork. I dunno if MYSTERY FINAL GUEST will but I’d be kind of surprised, considering who it is.

    >>Nice in York?? Have you SEEN those clouds? You wanna try working outside in the wet and cold all day, everyday… Bah.

Hey, it was pretty nice when I was in town! Us cartoonists don’t see a whole lot of sunlight, you know.

  27. Kat Says:

the bork bork bird is the best thing ive ever seen.

  28. ashley Says:

i’m slightly creeped out by all the talk about the weather…

  29. Rosie Says:

haha, that borking bird is so funny :D

  30. Hsalihba Says:

Sam and Fuzzy rox… Sam Logan rocks… I hope you achieve the same sort of fan following that S&F has…

You are on the right track already… best of luck…
