Totally hilarious. Hats off to Paul!

  7. Paul Southworth Says:

Thanks, guys! It was so much fun to draw a young child foreshadowing a future of insensitivity and anal fixation via a stuffed rabbit and a screwdriver!

  8. Neil Says:

Brilliant! I think I’m going to be chuckling to myself all day because of this. The worst part is I won’t be able to explain myself to all the people who look at me funny!

  9. Casey Says:

Ha! At least Anders gave preggers-Maria a chance. Poor Teddy :-(

My day was totally crummy until I saw this… Now it is all wonderful kittens and rainbows!

  14. Phill MV Says:

I must saw, I grew tired of Ugly Hill, but not of mr. Southworth’s style. He’s got mad skills.

I echo some previous commenter’s sentiments that this comic is a perfect mirror for everyone’s relationship anxieties.

  15. Brandon Says:

Panels 3 and 6 both made me laugh so hard I couldnt breathe. If all of Rene’s guests put out comics of this caliber she could take vacations and employ this stockpile of hilarious comedic gold.

  17. Brandon Says:

Oh bah! I didnt catch my edit in time with the stop button. Damn you internet!

Also: I have no idea why it came out as 3 and 6. I was thinking 6 and 10 the entire time =/

I guess I’m just functionally retarded! Yay!

  18. Steve Says:

In the fifth panel (sixth if you count the title panel), Anders’ arm is made out of rubber. Seriously, no bones.

    Excellent, hehe.

  30. Mandiiv Says:

Ahaha, well-drawn strip. I agree, the shifty-eyes are awesome. And the use of a screw driver is amusing because… ’screw.’ Yeah. I’m easy to amuse.

The joke itself fell a little short for me because of the Maria-Teddy bit, whereas in the story he WANTED Maria to be pregnant and have a kid and was accepting of them being ‘old’ and taking that ‘next step.’ Buuuttt this is also a guest comic, I shouldn’t be giving it a real critique XD Heaven forbid I embarass myself.

But as an individual comic, even if displayed out of context, it’s still amusing. Especially visually.

  31. Su Says:

    Wow, just…wow.
    *snort* bork, bork, bork.

    Best synopsis evar!

  32. demented_pants Says:

I came here specifically for this - being an Ugly Hill reader - and I’ve now read EVERY strip. This was MUCH funnier the second time.

    Bork bork indeed! Hehehe.

This is so going in my RSS aggregator. I love the comic!
