I think maybe she damns him because he’s kind of tearing her between the two of them, Bjorn and Anders. After all, it IS Anders’ kid, and I think it’s safe to say she still loves him in her own Maria way, but then again, there’s Bjorn who she has this history with and an obvious attraction to, and probably also loves in her own Maria way.
Thus, damn him. Hahaha.

My theory on the strip is she’s saying “Goddamn You” because he’s basically acting way too nice for the whole situation. She’s saying something which could quite potentially have started a bit of a shit-storm and Bjorn just lets it slide off his back and counters by saying something really sweet. My girlfriend is like this with me, she’s just a little too sweet and understanding, it makes me feel like I don’t deserve to be with such a great person

I’m cheating and reading the comments when I told myself I wouldn’t. Now I have to say that even though that is a particularly great pun, it was by no means intentional. I was going to silently take credit for it, but that would feel wrong. Great pun though, in many ways. Thanks for all the high fives and claps though. You guys are the best!

It is a clever pun in the end, but I do think that the original goal was just that Bjorn was being WAY too sweet for Maria

Rene, I love the Facebook profiles for the characters! What a great way to give us even more insight into the situation!
I’ve said before that your characters are very realistic. Giving them Facebook profiles adds to the realism even more! I can’t wait to see what comes of this.

Aaaagh! Now I have to wait to get the rest day by day! Just finished reading through the archive in a single sitting. This is definitely going on my daily reading list. Some of the best characterization I’ve seen in a long time, combined with wonderfully expressive art=happy Pete. Even if it did keep me up way past my bedtime
