i was going to say that i kind of like the 2nd panel with no right arm, but then i noticed that the right hand was still there. a little creepy. i still think you could ignore the missing right arm, and tomorrow’s strip could be about anders getting bitten by a tarantula.

i’ve gotten the feeling before that she tells anders things he wants to hear after her initial reaction.
remember when she asked him if their first time together meant anything at all (what about US - didn’t last night mean ANYTHING to you?) and when anders’ reaction wasn’t all love and puppyfluff she stated that they should have a relationship based on unconditional pleasure.
in this comic, i got the distinct impression she knew exactly what anders was talking about when she said “well…” but then she flatters him and strokes his ego with bambi eyes in the next.
i don’t think this makes her a devil-woman or anything, i think it just makes her vulnerable and probably very lonely. i think most of us can agree that we’ve either lied about something or pretended to be a certain way to attract someone.
the anders-maria-tina thing just makes me think that anders is the biggest asshole.

Exactly, humanoftheyear, I feel so horribly for Tina. It’s very easy to relate to her need to be loved so desperately, but I have to wonder why she is like that!

I am with katie who is with humanoftheyear. I think she does it intentionally and has no real intention of helping anders [emotionally], she just wants to bone him. I don’t know… I just know if I were Tina I would at least talk to him about the Maria thing and let him get it out and then coax him into sexes.

Sorry Tina but this comic is still registered as anderslovesmaria.com. I really look forward to seeing how the redemption works for both Anders and Maria since I enjoy stories about people making up for wrong doings. Hell, I’d even like to see the guy whose neck Anders broke become a better person afterwards.

Tina obviously knows what is going on and Anders, as much as he likes Tina, still loves Maria and probably wants to make sure he can see their baby. After all, Anders was the one who wanted a baby in the first place.
Maria certainly isn’t helping anything by sleeping with Bjorn (or will we find out that she isn’t going to?).
I think both of these guys are just missing the whole physical part of a relationship while still being in love with each other, but hating each other at the same time.
