I never defied everything everyone told me to do either, I was pretty good because I didn't like feeling like I was disappointing people. A lot of children <b>do</b> test their boundaries though, and some more than others... This was just my interpretation of people calling Maria a brat in this instance. As dumb as eating a bad mushroom is, I could see multiple little kids doing the same thing. -Who doesn't want a magical fit of rage? Ha. I think he and Tina and Maria and Bjorn are better matched to each other. That's not to say that, were I in Maria's place I wouldn't be just as devastated, but as a reader and looking at this scenario as part of a story, I think the way Rene has matched Anders and Maria with partners who complement them so well (I honestly like Anders/Tina and Maria/Bjorn better than Anders/Maria right now) is an intriguing enough twist to make me wonder what (if indeed anything) is going to be powerful enough to get the two of them back together again, and how the upcoming trial and the upcoming baby will factor into everything. Personally, I’m not especially mad at Anders. I think he and Tina and Maria and Bjorn are better matched to each other. I mean, maria & johan were spying outside the window, right?
