Also American Elf is listed as USA Today’s #1 Graphic Novel. (Alphabetically! Shhhhh!) It is truly a masterpiece in comic literature and a joy to read. Hurray for James Kochalka! Pick yourself up a copy.

Completely random, but foreign breakfasts are strange. ;D I grew up with toast, cereal and oatmeal. At the mother of my exchange sister’s (Germany) we had bread with cheese and what I am suspiciously certain was mashed up liver or something. It tasted delicious so I didn’t ask.
Although some of my friends eat donuts or pig fat for breakfast, so maybe I’M the strange one…

We have liver paté for breakfast here as well. It is so yummy with gherkins on it. Swedes eat a lot of cereal, toast and oatmeal too.

y’know rene i always thought my comic is pretty girly until i read yours, (i always get emails from boys saying that their girlfriend really likes my comic) but for some reason all the boys i go with really love your comic so much and it makes them cry alot i guess. like they get really sensitive feelings about it. ha ha! like the eggs and the commitment and things like that! oh, and if i wasn’t such a tough kid, i’d tell you that i adore your comic too, sensitive boyfriends regardless - (no really it’s wonderful) one of the loveliest lobbies in the internets m’dear! egad your drawings are really enjoyable from start to finnish

I misunderstood panel 4 too, at first, I thought he was grabbing her and she was trying to push him away … it’s a bit hard to tell. But the little spit-take seems to say that she grabbed his hand and put it in her crotch.
Either way, I hope he put down that tube of squeeze-cheese first …!
