I’m kind of re-reading the comic just to refresh my memory of everything…

FINALLY! I know this comment won’t get read by anyone, but I just discovered ALM and have been going through the archives, reading both the comics and the comments, and it’s been bugging me that most commenters were taking Maria’s side and Anders’ side was never presented. I’m very happy to see him doing it himself. And while his actions can’t be entirely justified, Maria had been a right bitch to him up until that point so I don’t blame him too much for what happened.

Oh my gosh, I almost agree with joe. Yikes! Well, for the sake of this being fiction, where at the end of the day Rome can’t be burning, the stars still have to burn, and life has to be normal; I hope they get back together. If this were a naughtier comic, I’d want Tina to keep shagging Anders, because it’s so beautiful when they’re at it.

tbh i think anders should get with tina, i’m not a huge fan of maria, she’s not especially open, she’s just interfering and manipulative.

kasha you are so right! Anders seems to just not care what his actions do to some one else as long as he gets what he needs or wants. Maria was trying to be civil and he was mean cuz he assumed she was getting over him!

But yeah, seriously, they need to do this face to face. The phone can distort what people really mean and feel. I hope for the sake of the story that they do meet up again (I mean, come on, they’ve gotta).

“Behaving hormonally” doesn’t mean spray-painting obscenities on someone’s home. If she hadn’t crossed that line, this wouldn’t have happened. Plain fact.

It’s scary how many people justify Maria’s actions because she’s pregnant. She’s obviously as immature as Anders. She just acted out with crass public vandalism instead of drunken adultery.

Both are idiots, neither is right. Both keep taking ten steps back for every step toward any reconciliation, but really, all Maria’s done is take smaller steps backward than Anders.
