Thursday, January 24th, 2008Well here it is. Time has passed a little for Anders and Maria.
I just got Fleened bigtime. It kind of makes me feel like a jerk for feeling once upon a time “ignored” by Fleen. I sent a mail off to Gary to tell him that I was updating everyday. He never got that mail apparently. Well I am stunned by his kind words to be honest. Thanks Gary.
Also I have some really sweet fanart to add but due to my illness I am putting that off for the time being.

They seem to be doing okay, but this is a very brief glimpse. I assume Anders is still hiding out up north. Staying with Tina? She’s made it obvious that she likes the guy. I hope she doesn’t get too comfortable having him around. I want to see him go back to Maria real bad.

Hhmm, interesting that Anders’s face is obscured on this page, but there is emphasis put on Maria’s face. *rubs chin, thinking*
And yeah, get better Rene! Would more boobs make you feel better? *slapped for being a weirdo*

Oh btw, in that second panel, if this was a Woody Allen movie there would be a camera rotating the table and catching all the subtle witty dialogue.

aww.. maria looks happy!!.. and not that I was stalking this site all day.
We’re sick here as well so my baby has been nursing all day. I have nothing better to do but check this comic all day. haha.

I’m so glad for the daily updates! I’m dying to know what the characters are thinking!
There has been SOO much emotion expressed in the last few pages. It’s such a contrast with this one. In today’s page, the emotion seems internalized, and we’re left to imagine what is being said and thought. I love the body language though, especially in the first two panels.

and yea I hate seeing Anders with Tina…but I’m hoping the fact you can’t see his face is like hinting he’s all detached, like he doesn’t really want to be there. But Maria seems to be happier, or is it a facade? Oh the possibilities!
I love this comic way too much.

I love how we never saw Anders’s face. It was either not facing us or covered by the camera. It makes me wonder if he’s happy, sad, or some other emotion. I get the feeling that Maria’s trying to be a little happier, trying to get the most out of life before she has her baby, that sort of thing.

There are no real wild reindeer in Sweden, but they do graze in the wild.
It’s gone a 2-3 weeks since Maria left for Stockholm.

My very own gimp returns!! I love being related to a comic character. You just know the same tshirt is on underneath that hoody, and I wouldn’t borrow either.

Its sad because, you want the happy ending, but getting back together might not feel happy or right in the end for them. Life is hard!

is it just me? or does the table round look a little like they are making some kind of plan???
(and marias smile in the end seems to be showing “confidence” like … “YES! this plan .. will work!”)
