Aw crap, my comment got all jacked up because I tried making one of those “less-than-3″ heart emoticon things.
The basic gist was “holy crap this is getting exponentially awesomer” although I think I worded it differently. I can’t sleep and I’m tired.

Johan’s fighting stance is ace. As well as his LIGHTNING SPEED to.. have Maria hear Anders in pain? How morbid!

at first I was like WOOH! been waiting for that all week! but then I kind of felt sorry for him.. even though he deserved it.. we shall have to wait and see what happens next.

Have been reading your comic ever since Stef showed to me almost a year ago, it is easily one of the best things I’ve read, with it’s original story and art.
The last panel is almost a little scary, what is Lars going to do and why is he still holding the gas hose? Can’t wait for the next page!

Oh, yeesh… I hope Anders doesn’t jack up Johan (like that one fellow) so much that Maria will never forgive him.
Then again, Anders was fighting for Maria’s honor when he messed that guy up, so maybe he’ll take what he had coming like a man against Johan.

I have a feeling this is where Anders proves to Maria’s family that he’s not a pussy if he goes and cripples Johan. But then again Anders has that sense of justice thing and I imagine would take his punishment in a very repentant fashion. That’s my reading of him. (Thank you for drawing clenched fists correctly! Too many artists are lovers and not fighters and make the mistake of drawing the thumb clunched inside)

I think people have misinterpreted Anders previous fight: he had his butt handed to him quite literally.
He managed to get in one lucky blow by dumb chance, from what was said, but otherwise he just was beaten into submission….

I, too, am experiencing a sudden surge of pity for Anders. The poor, unsuspecting sap. I hope he doesn’t get beaten to a pulp. Didn’t his broken bones basically just knit back together?
Also, I see you’re titling your pages now. Should make them a lot easier to find in the archives.

Diana, he basically just fractureed his hand in the last fight. Nothing too serious. Some stitches as well.
Happypeepeehead: I don’t understand what you mean by shooting up. Doesn’t that refer to taking some sort of drugs? Anders has always been clean.

Oh my god the edited panel has made my stomach crawl, I can so feel that jealous “cheating” pain even if I’m not going out with Anders myself! You can tell I’m so emotionally attached to this series now, goodness gracious.
But wow, that changes everything. Like what I said in my last comment, I thought Johan quickly called Maria so she could know Anders was getting his comeuppance.. I’m actually kind of happy I was wrong XD I still think that woulda been very “grim” or something.
Also did you decide to permanently have Johan with a smooth silky face? I was looking at the archives and noticed his facial hair just randomly.. disappears. It seems it goes away permanently on the comic after they catch Anders in the act XD I’m just curious, I don’t wanna be picky!
I mean one could say he just went and shaved, but he had facial hair the comic before and I don’t think he woulda gone to shave while Maria was bawling.

Taeshi. About his facial hair. I’m just lousy at remembering details like that. Sometimes he has facial hair. Sometimes he doesn’t. I decided to leave it out completely so it’s never an issue again. But between you and me, Johan’s a little scruffy.

Hehehe, I understand! As I said, I didn’t wanna come off like “WHOA I FOUND A CONTRADICTION” or anything! It’s just interesting how one can continue drawing a character and certain features drop off.. usually for the better, etc.
Johan still does give off a scruffiness to him, you’re right XD And it’s ace.

Wow, all the girls in the comments crying out for the adulterer’s blood! It’s a little scary out here for a guy.
Maybe I’m a chauvinist pig, but I didn’t think Anders was in the wrong. I mean, they’re relationship’s been on the rocks and then Maria goes and sabotages his job *twice*?! I mean, he said “I hate you!” and stormed off (30-12-2007) so it’s not like he was sneaking around.
