ya, he’s boned if he is going to act like nothing happened

  2. Dain Says:

He still don’t know she went back, how long is he going to be with Tina??

    Love the comic!

  3. lux Says:

he IS going to act like nothing happened!

And if nothing else, despite all the behaviour so far, the fact that he *knows* he just had sex with another woman, while his girlfriend is pregnant, and just said the words ’she trusts me’ to himself should break his heart. And if he does act like nothing happened he is going to compound it terribly.

  4. Cherie Says:

PLEASE say he’s not going to act like nothing happened. D:

i got back from a winter break to the wonderful present of finding out my new favorite webcomic updates quite often now! exciting

everything that’s happened since the new year has been ridiculously addicting to watch. maria has been my favorite from the beginning, so i’m a bit emotionally invested in her, and i’m hoping there will be some vindication for her after seeing the father of her child sexin’ it up with her mortal enemy. i’m not talking about her doing petty things like vandalism, but being able to move on from anders and let go of her anger. you can do it, maria!

  6. bam Says:

Anders is about as far form a fucking “hero” as can be at the minute. He has some redeeming to do to live up to that kind of name.

  7. Chuck Says:

Anders has fallen to the stupidity of “she trusts me” thinking.

He is f***** up, both mind and hearth.

  8. alex f Says:

how involved people are becoming! how fervent! we might need to do some blood-letting, it’s getting sanguine up in this piece!

oh hee hee, cross-country skiing as though it’s just, you know, a way to get around. sweden!

  9. Rene Engström Says:

Well it is just a way to get around Alex. :) But I have to inform you that the lady with the staves is just walking/exercising. There is no snow on the ground yet. In the story it is still not really winter. I got some catching up to do!

  10. Rene Engström Says:

    Stavgång it’s called

  11. neil Says:

Thanks for clearin that up, I was confused. And I always liked anders’ name :-p

  12. kmh Says:

Rene, indeed you are Hitchcock reborn. Or Daniele Steel :)

The tension gets bigger and bigger. Last time i was so excited about webcomics was when Faye nad Marten at QC had THE TALK.

  13. Rene Engström Says:

Who and who talked about the what where? Am I missing out on a comic here?

  14. Rene Engström Says:

Oh! Right Questionable Content. I’ve never read it. So it’s a nervy one?

  15. kmh Says:

There was a time, it was, but now its all about repeating the old jokes.

  16. Sandra Says:

  18. Helena Says:

    Håller med Sandra !

  19. Rene Engström Says:

Med vaddå? Att anders är en skitkorv? :D Jo det är han kanske ibland.

  20. Alisa Says:

    little did he know…..

  21. Ashley Says:

    Silly boy.

  22. Ashley Says:

Haha… Did you purposely name Anders and Maria after the kids who don’t want to use the condom express system in the article you linked yesterday? Because thats totally hilarious..

  23. Rene Engström Says:

Ha! No! I didn’t even notice. Anders and Maria are relatively common names here in Sweden. Funny that.

  24. Michiel P Says:

Lux skrev: “The fact that he […] just said the words ’she trusts me’ to himself should break his heart. And if he does act like nothing happened he is going to compound it terribly.”

The lines under his eyes signal that Anders is on the verge of bursting into tears. (Compare Tina in #089.) I can’t foresee how he’s going to behave, but it’s not like he takes it too lightly himself.

“Stavgång” has conquered Europe (or at least the Netherlands) under the name of “Nordic Walking”. Walking with ski poles may look silly, but it has gained a wide popularity under the 50+ part of the population.

  25. Rene Engström Says:

Yeah it’s mostly middle-aged elderly that do that here as well, but you do see the odd youth.

  26. Shannon D. Says:

I moved cross country and so I missed like the last 2-3 weeks. SO, OMG ‘what a tangled web we weave’ sorta deal!! On the whole this is so screwy and I feel bad and angry for and at everyone.

At least you have a healthy taste of reality in your comic! It’s sad and refreshing at the same time.

  27. Rene Engström Says:

    Welcome back! :)

  28. Olga Says:

I’m going to visit my mother who lives in Germany this summer with my children.. your comic strip makes me want to visit sweden. I could buy very functional well priced furniture there I bet.

PS.. I sent an e-mail out and wasn’t sure if it got to you or was understood. I ramble.

I’m also really glad that you have the time zone difference. I love waking up and having a strip already here without waiting for it. Instant gratification every morning!

  29. Rene Engström Says:

Yes I got your mail. I even responded?

If your Sweden travels take you by Östersund let me know.

  30. Olga Says:

in my junk mail. Stupid yahoo.

    unblocked and replying :)

  31. Mary Says:

Well, he’s utterly screwed if he acts like nothing happened, seeing as Maria knows about what DID happen…
But seeing as Maria IS bitter, enough of the time (not to say that that is a terrible thing all the time, either), maybe we can expect Anders “the hero” to step up to the plate and BE a hero?
Will we find out what exactly happened between Tina and Maria?
My name being Mary, does it, too, mean bitter?

  32. Helena Says:

    Med allt hon skrev. ;P

  33. Adelai Says:

I have never felt so sympathetic for unsympathetic characters, it’s amazing how human they are. The fact they seem so real makes me empathize with them, regardless of how they treat each other. It’s wierd.

  34. Peter Says:

    @adelai

    what are you talking about?
