Ha ha! The similarities are definately there. Although I doubt Anders would call himself a “womanizer”. The picture in the wiki article was a typical “clueless” Anders face though, minus large nose and with huge eyes.

Not the anders isn’t at fault… he’s a d bag. I hope they can work it out or at least can be good co parents. (I’m really worried about it like it’s real..must.. get.. life)

I think boobies are fine as long as they don’t have defined nipples. As any god-fearing American can tell you, nipples are the source of all evil and should never be seen by anyone EVER.

Oh, and the boobs are fine. I’d rather there be boobs than not. It’d just be silly if they were magically laying in bed fully clothed after having sex. Also- the scenes done with them in bed and such would not be nearly as dramatic as they are if they were done later in the day.

I really don’t see Tina as being a victim at all, here, except of childish vandalism. In spite of the fact that Maria is carrying Anders’ baby, she didn’t make any attempt to stop them “having relations,” probably because: 1) she wants to get back at Maria for defacing her house, 2) if Maria hasn’t outgrown her childhood grudge against Tina, why should Tina have outgrown whatever made her bully Maria back in the day, especially when 3) Maria has escaped their “backwater” hometown and is having a baby with the handsome rich photographer son of a national celebrity. I mean, come on, Tina works at a gas station for chrissake.

I appreciate the boobs very much. Agree completely with neil (above) who said “I’d rather there be boobs than not.”
But why leave off the nipples? We can handle real boobs with all their parts - no need to airbrush out the truth like a clothing catalog!

Rene: I agree about pores & pimples… but nipples are SO much more important than a pore or a pimple!
I just started reading the archives from the beginning… have a look at comic 2003-11-13 ( at http://anderslovesmaria.reneengstrom.com/2006/11/13/2003-11-13/) - in that one we saw two pairs of nipples.

Yeah I used to draw nipples and I didn’t really like how they looked. We’ll see, maybe I can find a cartoonier way to do nipples.
