“Manhating” on Anders for this is absolutely absurd. There’s clearly a lot more going on here than people would like to admit, and this barrage of screaming about Anders is kinda worrying.
People need to approach issues like these more objectively.

So if Anders actions are so bad, does this mean that you’re giving Maria a free pass for hers? I do think Anders just made a bad situation worse but to call him a c*nt and solely man-hate on him is ridiculous. He *is* a complete idiot and now has to face the consequences of his actions. However, Maria shares equal amounts of the blame because her actions drove him in that direction.
So Rene, are we now going to see what Maria’s nemesis did to her to make her feel this way?

Man… whenever things go bad in a comic or t.v. show I always find myself hoping for the happy, ‘and nothing of value was lost’ ending. I’m such a huge sap. I always root for the underdog and hope things turn out well for everyone. hah.

Uh, kmh, it IS cheating if he didn’t actually TELL Maria he was breaking up with her before giving in to being a man-whoring c*nt and screwing her childhood arch-enemy.
At any rate, I think Maria’s impulsive and childish pranks have landed her in another raging shitstorm; doesn’t she learn? Sounds like both characters have a lot of growing up to do.

Both of them are being dumb and Anders is making things sad! Rene, the art has been awesome lately, I really liked the (hand drawn/painted?) last week when they were pink and black mostly, but I really think the comic does better with the range of colors to assist in the expression of the mood! Its good to see Johan taking such good care of his little sister! - I always wanted a big brother!!!

agreed, I called a cartoon man a naughty word and it provoked debate regarding accountability, justification, attitude, blame, responsibilty… Which is for sure a tremendous sign of how easy it has been to fall into their heads/world and a sign of good craftsmanship.
Do want to know when Brad’s gonna be back in the story tho, my brother as cartoon dork meals on wheels recipient gives me a lot of associated bragging cred

Rene, I know its strange to comment on a comic from so long ago, but I am bursting to say this…
YOUR COMIC IS FRIGGIN INCREDIBLE!!!!
I thought i was attatched to the characters in Questionable Content. But this is ridiculous. I cant stop reading about Maria and Anders. I started reading today at work and cant stop, i am missing my lunch break to catch up! heehee.
And i love reading everyones comments, everyone seems to be attactched to Anders and Maria. Its incredible, people looking into the deeper meaning of Anders and Marias relationship and then discussing it as if we were all old friends. The story lines are brilliant and the art is incredible! In the beginning of their trip to norland i loved the ink style. it gave it a different feel for the different atmosphere. norland- sorta rough and unfinished, then when in stockholm more clean and fine. for me the look fit so well with the idea of norland [nothing willier than norland hicks! cept maybe those backwards swedes from skane. heehee]
Honestly Rene- if you havnt won some sort of award yet [i dont think they give out nobels for webcomics… BUT THEY SHOULD!], i am making one of my own up and giving it to you. Brills.
