Rene - 'Nother useful tip from a multiplatform geek. Try using "FireWire Disk Mode" when you have a poorly behaved recent Mac and another working Mac. It uses a standard FireWire cable, and lets even a non-booting Mac show up as an external Firewire drive on the other Mac.

I love the "kissy-faces" in Panel 3! You suggest so much with such minimalist detail. I do wonder, though, how Maria is reaching so close to Ander's face without him even bending his neck, considering the massive height differential in Panels 2 & 4.

I use Apple partly because it's what I got used to, starting in 1986, and partly because I really like having Unix utilities handy.

yea, it's the sad truth, windows or mac, they both have problems :(

I've found typically you can fix a mac by deleting your preferences. That kind of sucks, because it can include your bookmarks, settings, etc, a wide range of info that you really SHOULDN'T have to delete, but whatever. That's what apple makes you do when you call them.

Windows or OSX you're never going to escape crashes or reinstalling operating systems.

By the way I'm completely in love with your comic. Keep up the good work!
