If I hadn't just spent a week in Vancouver, I would totally show up for that con and share a table with you. Unfortunately time and money won't allow it. Bloody bloody bloody! I've only ever been to the late august, small press cons, but the regular comic cons look to be pretty much the same thing, only on a smaller scale (which may seem counter intuitive...). The Nov 4 con is in the same building, with the same organizer. In fact, most of the people on the roster are indies who've been at both of the small press cons I've been to. A few even hail from the Vernon area (James Lloyd and Camilla D'errico). At any rate, good luck! So close, yet so far.

I’ve only ever been to the late august, small press cons, but the regular comic cons look to be pretty much the same thing, only on a smaller scale (which may seem counter intuitive…). Top stuff! For what it's worth, I actually prefer the artwork in today's strip to the last update; I don't think the way you draw figures particularly lends itself to the kind of soft, airbrushy shadows you were using. The almost cut-out aesthetic you've implemented here is much more stylish. (It's taken like three attempts to get this post up on my busted-ass computer, I hope I've not flooded your comments box with half-finished entries.)
