Just for the record, “tarmangani” in Burroughs’s ape language means “white man” — just as “Tarzan” means “whiteskin”.

I have never watched Tarzan. I just know he yells like an ape or something. I watched a lot of George of the Jungle though.

I used to climb all over a massive tree in our garden. At one point dad nailed all these planks to the braches and we hung rope ladders and rope down from the braches. Most of the planks and platforms are still there, although now rotten.

Oh man, I’m embarrassed. I mean… I knew it was tarzan but I never got in to tarzan and every time I watch it, I turn it off pretty quickly.
