Monday, August 27th, 2007I hope you guys don’t think this is turning into a dirty comic. It’s not my intention. I just want to give an honest look at relationships and it’s hard to do that without getting into the gritty, nasty stuff. Plus bums, boobs and ding dongs are pretty funny.

I didn’t see any “ding dongs.” You know, I think the characters actually appear to be thicker when you draw them naked rather than with clothes on.
Hee hee, hump as an onomatopoeia.

All the characters here are cartoons and I tend to exaggerate some things in certain instances. My characters are fluid and stretchy, but not to the point where their arms will extend all the way to the refridgerator to grab the milk. But to emphasise certain emotions I will may, for example, give Anders a larger-than-life “boner” if he is really excited. Or in this case, to emphasise the sexuality, I give them more sensuous bodies.

Digging how it’s not just the human figures that have a fluid feel. I recall the first comic I saw, not to sound like a person with synesthesia but your characters always looked like acrylic painting felt.

what I really like about this comic is the dimples in the bed where Anders’ hands are pressing into the mattress. That’s just an awesome detail that many would gloss over.

Where the heck is Anders’ right leg in panel 1? =D
You can see all the way across under Maria… and it’s pretty clearly not next to his left leg…
