   Also, what an idiot! Doesn’t Anders know that the mommy bird might abandon her eggs after a human’s touched them? Guess it doesn’t matter now, though. Mwah ha ha.

   That’s actually a myth. The mother won’t abandon her eggs. The best thing you can do in this case is just try to put the nest back up in a high place. Even if the nest is destroyed a human constructed nest would suffice as long as it holds. Anders means well here but he’s doing the wrong thing. Well obviously!
