Monday, April 9th, 2007There are a lot of nice people that read Anders Loves Maria and have written nice things about me on the internet! That makes me so happy. I could be having really crappy day with influensa and sick children that have kept me up all night and when I come to work and find that someone out there really likes what I do and feels compelled to tell someone about me I just can’t stop smiling.
Here are some of the ones I have found. Do you know of anymore? Let me know!
Shane Mitrovic is probably the first person to link to me and recommend my comic. He is really sweet and he does his own comic called The Absurd Adventures of Fash Masel.
Brian Brown aka Box Brown felt compelled to start a Live Journal feed for Anders Loves Maria which I actually have no idea how it works so I can’t really help you find it. But it was very sweet! He also makes a comic that is sweet in an Anders Loves Maria way. It is called Bellen and it is about his relationship with his girl Ellen.
Hehe It has also been made to my attention that Reidsrow made this first LiveJournal feed. I’m an ass. I tried to find the original post but I couldn’t, and the only name that I remembered was Box Browns. Sorry Reidsrow! And thanks again!
Stef Gaines is a Swedish cartoonist that has openly admitted to having the same crushes as I have and talked highly of Anders Loves Maria in her blog.
And last but certainly not least, I should mention the man who pays me to do Anders Loves Maria, Mattias Järnhäll who runs and operates a great web community called Familjelycka. There you can read Anders Loves Maria in Swedish.

[…] It comes highly recommended from both way back (check out the text underneath the comic) and new. Partially, I was immediately struck by how pretty the strip is (I mean, look at this beautiful thing). But as I read through the archives (and it’s new enough that you can read through in one sitting, though you might not want to do so at work if you work in the States), I found myself far more captivated by the changes in style. Sometimes there’s some pencil extras, and I kind of love how she intentionally posts really different styles from time to time. Like this cool one. And sometimes in Swedish too! (and also here). […]

A late comment to this but I’ve just come across your comic and I’m really liking it so far. I like that he does his ‘tidying’ in ‘tie dye’ … great choice of words to go with the imagery.
