I have a friend who is a nerd with LOTS of action figures but he doesn’t know diddly squat about PHP. He knows all about that hip hoppin’ rap music though.

I looked into a handful of webcomic backends on the net, but none of them suited my needs. I ended up mashing out a simple PHP site with navigation. Its pretty low tech. One day I want to automate updates, but that means i have to learn more php.

basically I’m telling you to bribe a nerd with action figures to get a site setup you want.

I was looking into WCN, but I have enough space on my own server. I just need a better system than ComicPress. It’s not a crisis anyways… just annoying.

How about hosting it on Web Comics Nation? Joey recently added free accounts, and you can get other people to gift you an upgraded membership to take advantage of the promotional benefits he offers. It’s been great for me.
